Yujing is located in the center of the Tainan Mountains. Since the Japanese occupation era, it has been the distribution center for various agricultural products in the surrounding area. In order to accommodate the increasing transaction demand, the office started construction of this market in 1973 and officially opened in 1974. The market supplies the ingredients needed for people’s livelihood, such as meat, vegetables, seafood, fish, etc., and there are many types of daily necessities. There are many food stalls in the market, allowing people to enjoy breakfast, lunch and snacks in their free time.
Fruit,booth and ice cream
Because it was the season when mangoes were abundant, there were many stalls selling mangoes, and you could see baskets and columns of mangoes everywhere. Although there were many varieties of mangoes, there were still many Aiwen mangoes. Some stalls also sell dried fruit. Personally, I highly recommend the dried mangoes over there. They are very delicious!
When you come to Yujing, it is recommended to try the mango ice here. The store I went to this time is at the other end of the market. Although there are not as many people as there are other stores in the market, I think all the ice products in this store are commendable.
Let’s talk about the snowflake ice first. I don’t think this bowl of ice is very sweet like other ice shops, but very refreshing and comfortable. The mangoes on it are also very fresh, and there is no rotten taste. Especially the ice cream on top, this ice cream is salty, I was very surprised when I first ate it. I guess it is to have a comprehensive effect with the sweetness of mangoes, to prevent the feeling of getting tired more and more.
For the smoothie part, I think it is very real, because usually a lot of sugar is added to a normal smoothie to increase the sweetness. But this cup of smoothie, just add mango and ice cubes to make a smoothie. Although the sweetness is not enough, the fragrance of the mango flavor is very refreshing to me, and I drink it very happily.
We bought two large baskets of fresh mangoes and two small watermelons. Personally, I think the price here is very cheap and the quality is guaranteed. It is highly recommended for shopping.
